Sunflower AI

Six steps from setup to live captions

A complete walk-through — from connecting an audio device to picking translation languages and getting the QR code in front of your audience.

  1. Connect your audio source

On the speaker app, pick your microphone or capture device. For laptops, the built-in mic works for testing — but a wired lavalier or USB mixer dramatically improves accuracy. Sunflower AI confirms it's hearing you with a live audio meter.

  2. Set the spoken language

Tell Sunflower AI which language you'll be speaking. We support 50 speaking languages. Picking the right one boosts accuracy versus auto-detect, especially for accented English and code-switched speech.

  3. Pick target languages for your audience

Choose which languages you want to translate into. Each enabled target language gets its own audience view. There's no per-language extra cost on Pro and Enterprise plans up to the included quota.

  4. Upload your script (optional, recommended)

If you have a sermon outline, conference deck, or event script, upload it ahead of time. Custom vocabulary and context dramatically improve translation quality for proper nouns, technical terms, and quotes.

  5. Download the QR and put it on screen

Sunflower AI generates a single QR code that takes any audience member to your live captions in their phone's preferred language. Drop it into your slide deck, project it on a side screen, or print it on the run-of-show.

  6. Hit Start

When the speaker takes the floor, click Start. Captions begin appearing on the in-room display within ~1.5 seconds, and audience phones begin streaming the transcript. When the session ends, click Stop and save — Sunflower AI archives the transcript for review.
