How Sunflower AI increases translation accuracy for Bible reading
We read Revelation 3 twice through Sunflower AI, with and without Bible Fetch Feature, and measured how quickly the Chinese verses reached the screen and how closely they matched the Chinese Union Version.

When a speaker announces a Bible passage, Sunflower AI can recognise the reference and show the published verses in the audience’s language, instead of translating the reading sentence by sentence. We wanted to know how much it has improved.
The test
We read Revelation 3 (22 verses, NIV) twice in English, translated live into Simplified Chinese by Sunflower AI: once with the Bible Fetch Feature on, and once with it off. We recorded when each line reached the audience screen and scored both runs the same way.
What we measured
Latency. First Chinese for a verse vs its first English words (median).
Match rate to the Chinese Union Version. How closely the Chinese on screen matches the Chinese Union Version (和合本, simplified). We compared character by character across the whole chapter.
Results
| On | Off | |
|---|---|---|
| First Chinese for a verse vs its first English words (median) | 3.2 s | 5.4 s |
| Match rate to Chinese Union Version, whole chapter | 96.7% | 67.1% |

Summary
With the Bible Fetch Feature on, Sunflower AI makes Bible readings both faster and far more accurate. The Chinese for each verse appeared 2.2 seconds sooner, and the match rate to the Chinese Union Version rose from 67.1% to 96.7%, so your congregation reads the same words they know from their own Bibles.
